East Rutherford, NJ – Wag ‘N Wash, Bergen County’s 1^st Self-Service Dog Wash and Full-Service Grooming Salon, formerly located on Paterson Avenue, has re-opened at 150 Park Avenue in East Rutherford.

We want everyone to be able to see the new shop and the services we provide for your pets. We will be holding a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Sunday, October 26th from 1:00-5:00 P.M complete with Hors D’Oeuvres, beverages, and treat bags for the dogs. We will be offering some wonderful door prizes: a gift certificate to Paradise Pet Holistic Retail Center , a beautiful Pet Portrait and a free grooming.

“It took us 6 weeks to close and re-open a business.” says Janie Semprevivo, Owner and Pet Stylist. “We did so much in that small amount of time. I am pleased with the design and the functionality of the new shop and my customers have given me rave reviews to boot.”

While smaller in square footage, the new Wag ‘ N Wash salon has a warm and inviting look. We have a wonderful waiting area for our human customers complete with cookies and our bathing and drying areas are now separate so no unwanted hair will be coming your way when you walk in the door with your pet.

On another note, Wag ‘N Wash still provides self-service dog washing with one change, appointments must now be made for this service. We still provide an elevated tub to prevent bending; long spray hoses, tearless, natural shampoos and conditioners; safety chains to prevent your dog from jumping or falling, professional pet dryers, towels, brushes, aprons and colognes. We also provide pet stairs so that you may comfortably get your dog in the tub and/or onto the counter for blow drying.

For our grooming customers, we offer the LIPS Grooming Support System where the dog is secured from the front and the back on our tables so there is no chance of the dog jumping off the table and injuring himself. This enables me to groom the dog faster; alleviates stress for older dogs with arthritis and sets our customers’ minds at ease. We utilize a massaging bathing system and each dog receives an aromatherapy facial with each visit. Wag ‘ N Wash grooms dogs on an individual by appointment basis. We do not cage nor do we cage dry.
